The role of the Board is to ensure the Association is run ethically and efficiently. Meetings are held every 2 months.
At the 2009 AGM on Thursday 3 December, the following three Board positions were declared vacant. One (1) position: Secretary of the Board The term is for three years, from the 2009 AGM until the 2012 AGM. Seven nominations were received for the two Ordinary positions, and an election was held. At the AGM, new Ordinary Board members Associate Professor Ian Baguley and Ms Sylvia Miles were welcomed to the Board. The current BIA NSW board has a range of expertise and broad-ranging experience.
